In 2005, I published Pizzazz Works: The Magic of Motivational Merchandising, a book that I had been working on for two years. Writing a book had been on my bucket list (although I didn’t know what that was when I wrote it).
I had no idea how to write and publish a book or how to create a PDF file, but I figured it out because it was something I had to do. I developed my book in a similar format to the way Seth Godin writes, although the final version wound up to be a handbook rather than a series of articles. Technology has advanced dramatically since 2005, and those of us who like to communicate are in our element with social media.
Now I’m using social media to communicate and hold on to information that might come in handy someday. Whether it’s from blogging or tweets, it could be fodder for another kind of Pizzazz!
