On January 20, Chris Brogan posted Why I Don’t Care What You Call It in his blog at New Marketing Labs. His point was online marketing needs to drive results regardless of the title you give it.
It’s all about connectivity…whether it’s through meetings, traditional or new media, print or digital, audio or video. Savvy marketers implement creative strategies designed to reach their target audience. Skilled sales people provide value to their clients and prospects by utilizing tools that make it easier to do business. That can be accomplished by one person or an entire team.
We can extend those touchpoints of communication by using platforms designed to reach our audience…at home, in our office or on the road. We can work smarter instead of harder. Relevant e-mail campaigns, tweets, posts, blogs and updates have the potential to exponentially connect and grow our circle of success at a much faster pace.
I sense an insatiable demand for connectivity. – Clifford Stoll
