It’s Day 3 of my Social Media Challenge, and I’m on a roll now. At the beginning of this year, Chris Brogan from New Marketing Labs shared his goals for 2010 in three words: ecosystems, owners, kings
He also asked for readers to share their three goals for this year, and my response was: create, communicate, collaborate
In 2009, before I started following Chris Brogan, I realized there were three words that drove me: purpose, passion, people
Before we can figure out what we do best, it’s important to define our purpose. As a photographer, I’m drawn to certain subjects and one of them is fire rescue. This photo was taken in the parking lot of a grocery store where a fire engine was parked. I asked a fireman if I could take pictures of it, and he was proud to let me do it. When I saw the reflection of it in his sunglasses, it struck me that the fire engine represented him and his purpose to protect others.
What is your purpose?
