Dealing with Information Overload – The Intelligence Dashboard on Netvibes

in Articles, Marketing, Social Media

Day 7 of my Social Media Challenge brings another post on Netvibes, an “intelligence dashboard” for following the “infoverse” (click here for tutorials from Howard Rheingold).   I have to thank Lethia Owens, a dynamic Personal Branding and Social Media Strategist, for introducing this tool to her followers on Facebook and Twitter. There may be other tools that are just as efficient and easy to use, but this one is so comprehensive that I don’t need to look anywhere else.

If you are on Twitter and want to keep your eye on a specific conversation or page, there is a replicable widget that makes it extremely simple.

With Netvibes, you can up your intelligence quotient without getting lost in space!

The ability to focus attention on important things is a defining characteristic of intelligence. – Robert J. Shiller

Thanks Jamie! It has saved me so much time. I really like the Twitter and Facebook widgets. All you have to do is drag and drop a profile to create a separate widget. Have fun with it! – Caren
